About the Masterclass

New to the role of IB Programme Coordinator?

Not knowing what you don’t know is more stressful for dedicated professionals than doing the hard work to improve.

Join us for this 4-hour Masterclass with leading authority, Kieran Burgess, as we unpack some of the foundational principles and basic elements of the role.

Though we will focus on the role of the Diploma Coordinator, much of the session will be equally applicable to other IB programmes too. We will explore the multi-faceted nature of the role: procedural; pedagogical; and pastoral leadership is expected, and we will also introduce key tasks throughout the year.  We will cover how to get into and use IBIS and MyIB fully. We will also cover collaborative curriculum planning and what it actually looks like in practice.

This Masterclass will help you to really understand your role and its requirements and the Q&A opportunities throughout will give space for you to receive bespoke advice.
