About the Masterclass

Are your students truly mastering Approaches to Learning (AtL) skills, or are they merely scratching the surface? How can coordinators move beyond checklist compliance to reveal the true depth, detail, and transformative power of AtLs across their curriculum? Join us for this masterclass as we unpack the critical distinction between explicit and implicit teaching of AtL skills. We will explore how AtL and programme coordinators can effectively map skill development across the whole school, examining the collaborative work needed with teachers to ensure this mapping is authentic and accurate. Finally, participants will discover actionable strategies to identify and bridge gaps in AtL coverage, embedding lasting skill development into everyday classroom practice. Essential for AtL coordinators, programme coordinators, and curriculum leaders committed to driving meaningful skill integration.
