About the Masterclass

How can educators leverage artificial intelligence to transform teaching and learning while upholding academic integrity? What does meaningful, ethical AI integration look like in everyday classroom practice and assessment? Building on our 'Developing an AI strategy' masterclass, this session shifts the focus from leadership strategy to direct classroom implementation. We will explore how AI can serve in diverse roles: from an intelligent tutor and adaptive learning partner for students, to an efficient co-planner and administrative assistant for teachers. Participants will examine a wide spectrum of tools tailored for specific educational needs, diving into the critical pedagogical considerations, ethics, and environmental sustainability of AI adoption. Discover practical ways to foster robust AI literacy among both staff and students, including concrete strategies to involve students directly in co-creating classroom guidelines around when, where, and how AI should be used. Essential for classroom teachers, heads of department, and instructional leaders ready to harness the power of AI responsibly.
