Ibtihal Mahmoud

Ibtihal Mahmoud has over 30 years of teaching experience in Arabic language and literature across a range of educational programmes, including the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), IGCSE, and the Jordanian National Curriculum. She is an experienced IBDP examiner, working with the IB Assessment Centre in Cardiff in a variety of assessment roles.  She has also made significant contributions to the development of Language A: Literature curriculum (first assessment in 2021). Her work included marking Paper 2 student samples, developing unit plans from multiple pedagogical perspectives, assisting in securing permissions for literary texts used in IB workshops, and reviewing the subject guide to enhance its clarity and practicality for teachers.
