Ibtihal Mahmoud

She has more than 28 years teaching experience. She taught Arabic subjects within several educational programs (IBDP - IGCSE - Jordanian national curriculum). Her experience in the IB field started in 2000. She taught most of the IB diploma program Arabic subjects (Arabic A: Literature, Arabic A: Language & Literature and Arabic B). Now she is holding the position of Co-Head of Arabic department in one of the poineers IB World School in Amman. She is an IBDP assessor working with the IB assessment center in cardiff within different roles. As well, she has participated in two advanced training events related to consultant role which held by the IB regional office in The Hague. She is also onlineworkshop facilitator . In addition, she worked with the IB during their preparing for the language A Literature new course (First examination 2021), as she marked students' samples (P2), prepared unit plans depending on different perspective, helped with gaining texts permission to use during the IB workshops and reviewed the guide from the angle of being clear to use by the teachers As well, She is a member in the Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation Team.
