This face-to-face workshop event will be held at The British School Warsaw which is on Ul. B. Limanowskiego on the south side of the city of Warsaw, just 15 minutes from Lotnisko Chopina Warszawa Airport.
Timings: 08:30-16:30 on Days 1 and 2 and 08:30-12:30 on Day 3.
This workshop is designed for experienced theory of knowledge (TOK) teachers, Diploma Programme (DP) teachers who may help students with their TOK essays and assessments, school administrators and DP coordinators with an interest in TOK assessment.
We will explore new strategies to help students elevate their ToK essay-writing and thinking skills, regarding selection of examples, argumentation, and presentation and evaluation of different perspectives. We shall take a look at ‘global impression marking’ and you will try your hand at assessing student work under the guidance of an experienced examiner.
You will learn strategies that help students master the challenging tasks of linking arguments to the prescribed title, to examples, and to areas of knowledge.
Once you have made your booking, you will receive an automatically generated BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and an invoice (or a receipted invoice if you have paid by credit card). Shortly after that, once we have processed your booking, you will receive an email from us with further information.
Once we have confirmed that the workshop will go ahead we will send you a confirmation email and an information pack which tells you everything that you need to know about joining your sessions. The links to join your sessions will be sent to you by email around 2 days before your sessions start.
