A late booking surcharge of £100 will be applied to all bookings made 10 days or less in advance of virtual workshops and 21 days or less in advance of face-to-face workshops
This VIRTUAL workshop will be delivered via ZOOM by an IBO-trained workshop leader. The timings are 09:00-13:30 UK time each day with a pre-workshop set-up meeting starting at 08:30 UK time on Day 1.
This workshop is recommended for experienced IB subject teachers who do not teach theory of knowledge (TOK) but would like to develop their understanding of TOK so that they may model and reinforce effective thinking skills and concepts in their teaching.
During the workshop, you will have an opportunity to discuss the nature of the TOK. Through workshop activities, you will model the TOK approach by reflecting on yourself—the teacher—as “knowers” and discuss the “ways of knowing” in TOK and their relevance with other IB subjects. The workshop will explore the link between TOK and inquiry so that you can incorporate a practical understanding of TOK in quality curriculum planning and classroom teaching.
Once you have made your booking, you will receive an automatically generated BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and an invoice (or a receipted invoice if you have paid by credit card). Shortly after that, once we have processed your booking, you will receive an email from us with further information.
Once we have confirmed that the workshop will go ahead we will send you a confirmation email and an information pack which tells you everything that you need to know about joining your sessions. The links to join your sessions will be sent to you by email around 2 days before your sessions start.
