Natasha Awada

Natasha Awada is the DP Coordinator and Math Department Leader at Jeddah Knowledge International School, KSA. Natasha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics as well as a Master's Degree in Education from Sunderland University. She has been leading the Mathematics Department (DP & American Diploma) of Jeddah Knowledge International School since 2010, and has taught the following curricula for more than 15 years: MYP Math, DP Math (Higher Level), DP Math (Standard Level) and the IGCSE curriculum. Natasha is an expert in a range of mathematics software such as Autograph, Geogebra, Desmos and Graphic Display Calculators. As a qualified International Baccalaureate Workshop leader, Natasha has delivered numerous workshops in the Europe and Middle East region, mainly in Amman, Berlin, Brussels, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Prague, and Vienna. As an IB Math DP examiner and workshop developer, she was also member of the Math Curriculum Committee of the International Baccalaureate from 2014-2018. Her vast experience in the subject led her to co-author IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches: Standard Level, which is published by Oxford Press. In addition to her experience in teaching of Mathematics, Natasha has participated in a number of school accreditation processes and visits,including CIS and NEASC, and is currently an IB School Team Visitor.
