Meredith Hughes

Meredith Hughes has been teaching in the IB Diploma Programme since 2006 and holds several IB roles: teacher of English A, History, and TOK.  Additionally, she is a workshop leader for Language A courses, History and TOK as well as being an IB Examiner for History and TOK.  She is also the ATL Coordinator at her school and the IB Coordinator assistant. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro as well as a minor in Art History.  She has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington in Seattle and a MaED (Masters in Education). She has been teaching English Literature and History since 2004. Being based in Berlin, Germany allows her to enjoy writing and exploring the rich landscape of Berlin.
