Kate Beatty

Dr Kate Beatty is an international educator, instructional leadership researcher, and international education consultant with more than 35 years of experience in international education. She has served in a number of teaching, leadership and consultant roles, supporting schools globally. Kate is an experienced MYP/DP Language and Literature, Language Acquisition and Arts educator, workshop leader and author of educational materials, with over 20 years of experience teaching and leading the subject in diverse international contexts. She is an IBEN Lead Educator, Team Chair, Field Representative, Evaluation and Programme Leader, and school Consultant who has supported numerous schools through candidacy, authorization, and evaluation processes. Kate holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is the author of research examining instructional leadership and programme leadership within the IB Middle Years Programme, with a particular focus on programme implementation, school improvement, and leadership development in international schools.
