Hesham Elnagar is an American Egyptian high school teacher and Social Studies Head of Department at the International School of Prague. Hesham completed his M.A. at Northern Arizona University in Sustainable Communities- with a concentration in anthropology and educaition. His research focused on epistemic violence in Arizona’s legal suppression of K-12 ethnic studies education. After finishing his masters, he moved to Jordan as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar. In Jordan, Hesham taught IB Global Politics, IB World Religions, IB English B, and MYP Integrated Humanities. He also worked as CAS and Service as Action Coordinator. Within the IB, Hesham is experiecned in assessment and is a member of the World Religions and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) curriculum reviews. He also currently a representative for the Association for International Educators and Leaders of Color (AIELOC).
