Asha Joypaul

My name is Asha Joypaul and I come from the small but uniquely beautiful island of Mauritius.    I started the MYP journey as the MYP Coordinator in the very initial stages as an Interested school and learned the tricks of the trade first hand to this current point of my journey where I have just run my first E assessment session.  It has been a long, sometimes challenging journey but worth every bit of it!    Indeed, for having been an IB teacher for 25 years now, I sincerely think there can be no better and inspiring curriculum than the IB ones which shape our students for the future but concurrently help us as teachers improve in our everyday practice and find accomplishment as professionals.   My passion for the IB has led me to become a Workshop Leader for the MYP and through the workshops, I aim to inspire other teachers to share this passion for the MYP.   I enjoy working with others, learning from them as I share my own understandings. Each workshop is a foray into new cultures and an opportunity to grow the existing network of IB educators
