Marwa has around 19 years of experience in the field of education. She holds a Master degree in the Arts of Education from the University of Sunderland in UK. She is currently a Teacher Educator at Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA). She is also the Academic Programme Coordinator for the Pre-service Teacher Education Project in Jordan (PRESTIJ) which is done collaboration with the USAID. She has previously worked as an IB DP Coordinator in her previous school, where she established the DP department and supported the DP authorization processes. She was also the Biology Subject Leader and an IB DP Biology teacher at the same school. She is a CIS visit team member, an IB workshop leader and is highly experienced in assessment. She is the author of the book "Biology for IB Diploma Programme Course Preparation" published by Oxford. She was also a fellow in the Middle East Professional Learning Initiative Fellowship (MEPLI) at Harvard Graduate School of Education for year 2017-2018. She has performed many workshops with the IB in different countries and for many schools in Saudi Arabia as well as coaching, training and mentoring school colleagues.
