Ibicus - Leaders in IB Teaching

IBICUS is a UK-based company which specialises in providing teaching, advice and information on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We work in close cooperation with the IB Organisation in Geneva, which ensures the rigorous standards and quality of our workshops.

Our 2009 programme of IB workshops saw us offer training to almost 800 teachers at Westminster Academy (London), Wellington College (Berkshire), George Dixon International School (Birmingham), The Manchester Grammar School and Oakham School (Rutland). We were also delighted to venture into the Middle East where we offered our first workshops in that region at Uptown High School, Dubai in October for over 180 teachers. We are grateful to these schools for their contribution to these successful workshops.

We have recently completed our first 2010 workshops at The Cheltenham Ladies College (UK) and The International School of Prague, Czech Republic. This latter workshop was our first venue in central Europe and we hope to follow up with others in that region in the next academic year.

Our 2010-11 Calender of Events has now been agreed with the IB Office in Geneva and is available to book online.

There has been huge demand for information about the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and the Middle Years Programme, and we can arrange IB Information Days for anyone interested in finding out if the IB is right for their school.
