About the workshop

This workshop is designed for new DP Business Management teachers. Teachers with some experience of IB teaching (e.g. at MYP level) and teachers with experience of the subject (outside the IB) will equally benefit, as will more experienced teachers keen to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of the Subject Guide, its scope and expectations.   

By the end of the workshop

  • You will feel able and ready to teach the IB DP Business Management course
  • You will know how (best) to prepare your students for their assessment (Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams, as well as Internal Assessment);
  • You will have a better understanding of the IB (especially its ethos, educational philosophy and values as encapsulated in the IB Learner Profile, as well as the IB approaches to teaching and learning)

About your booking

Once you have made your booking, you will receive an automatically generated BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and an invoice (or a receipted invoice if you have paid by credit card). Shortly after that, once we have processed your booking, you will receive an email from us with further information.

Once we have confirmed that the workshop will go ahead we will send you a confirmation email and an information pack which tells you everything that you need to know about joining your sessions. The links to join your sessions will be sent to you by email around 2 days before your sessions start.

IBICUS organises teacher training programmes for schools in over 130 countries around the world.

Originally established to support the IB Schools community, we have been authorised by the IBO to run their full range of official certified Professional Development teacher-training workshops since 2003. We also offer Masterclasses and Seminars for IB and non-IB schools and specialist training for individual schools.

VIRTUAL FORMAT

The entire 2022 calendar will be delivered virtually.

All of our workshops are intensive, interactive and delivered via ZOOM. Although it’s great to be in the same room, the intensive nature of our format (4 hours per day with short breaks) means that everyone really retains focus and stays on- point.
