About this Workshop

This workshop provides an opportunity for experienced IB educators to explore the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching literary works in translation in studies in language and literature courses. A range of teaching and learning strategies will be explored, focusing on the connection between translated works and the conceptual framework that underpins studies in language and literature courses. The workshop will examine the place and the role of literature in translation in the three areas of exploration as well as its uses for the learner portfolio.
