About this Workshop

This intensive 4-hour Masterclass considers how educators can develop practice to ensure students have the opportunity to engage with real-world issues through authentic assessment.


Participants will work collaboratively through practical learning engagements to address the following areas:

  • a deep dive into summative assessment
  • formative assessments to feed forward
  • adapting practice to create authentic assessments
  • exploring reliability and validity of assessment


Please note that ibicus Masterclasses are designed to help you delve deeper into a particular subject; they are not IB authorised/certified and do not count towards authorisation.
