About this Workshop

Now more than ever, in our current educational climate, our learners need to develop the skills to work independently and manage their learning. This practical, interactive masterclass explores how we, as educators, can support students to practice and develop skill through teaching and learning.

Participants will work collaboratively through practical learning engagements to address the following areas:

  • identify how affective skills can support the needs of the learner
  • rationalize which skills will require implicit and explicit development (subject specific)
  • create a skills framework aligned to formative and summative assessment.
  • prepare strategies to articulate skills through the curriculum

Please note that ibicus Masterclasses are designed to help you delve deeper into a particular subject; they are not IB authorised/certified and do not count towards authorisation.
