A late booking surcharge of £100 will be applied to all bookings made 10 days or less in advance of virtual workshops and 21 days or less in advance of face-to-face workshops
This FACE-TO-FACE workshop will take place at Raffles World Academy, Dubai.
The timings are 08:30-16:30 on Days 1 and 2 and 08:30-12:15 on Day 3.
RECOMMENDED FOR:
Standard level or higher level teachers who have already attended a mathematics workshop.
You will engage in activities to help understand how best to implement the internal assessment (IA) process in DP mathematics. Practical activities will be carried out to simulate classroom activities, ranging from introducing the exploration, to effective student guidance throughout the process. You will be able to design an effective IA outline that reflects the strengths and needs of your school, as well as enables students to plan and write a successful exploration. Opportunities will be provided for you to unpack the assessment criteria and apply them to a variety of student samples. The moderation or standardization process will also be simulated to develop the skills that are required to implement internal moderation.
Once you have made your booking, you will receive an automatically generated BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and an invoice (or a receipted invoice if you have paid by credit card). Shortly after that, once we have processed your booking, you will receive an email from us with further information.
Once we have confirmed that the workshop will go ahead we will send you a confirmation email and an information pack which tells you everything that you need to know about joining your sessions. The links to join your sessions will be sent to you by email around 2 days before your sessions start.
