  • morning and afternoon refreshments including snacks and hot and cold drinks

  • 3-course buffet lunches on Day 1 and Day 2 of the workshop including vegetarian option(s)

  • workshop materials and resources, either paper-based or shared digitally

  • assistance with transportation to and from the workshop venue each day where appropriate (if staying in the selected workshop hotels)

  • on-going support and assistance from the IBICUS team

Timings

All our workshops work to roughly the same timetable:

09:00 to 17:00 on Day 1

09:00 to 16:30 on Day 2

09:00 to 12:30 on Day 3

Your evenings are free to either join in with an optional organised tour (small additional charge) or relax in your hotel.

How do I get from my hotel to the workshop venue?

If you have booked into a hotel on our specially negotiated IBICUS rate, via the IBICUS booking form then free bus transportation will be provided between the hotel and the workshop venue on workshop days.  See accommodation for further information.

Leaving the workshops at the end

At the end of the workshops there will be free buses straight to the airport. The bus should arrive at the airport at 13:00.  There are also free buses back to the workshop hotel(s).

When do the workshops start?

Please come through the main school entrance to the Registration Desks between 0830 and 0900 on Day 1 of the workshops. There is no need to register at the front desks on subsequent days. The workshops will start at 9.00am prompt each day.

What to bring

Your workshop leader will email you before the course telling you what to bring but this will always include your Subject Guide which you can access via the PRC (your Coordinator should have or be able to provide you with login details for this).  You may find it useful to bring a laptop or other device (and any chargers and plug adaptors) as workbooks and resources are often shared electronically.

Can I access the internet at the school?

WiFi is available in most areas of the school for your own smart phone/laptop. School ICT facilities are also available during break times.

What meals are provided?

Lunches and refreshments (including vegetarian options) are provided on Day 1 and 2 during the workshop. On Day 3 we finish before lunch but will provide refreshments at the morning break. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking or if you have already booked, please email admin@ibicus.org.uk before the workshop starts.

Do I get a Certificate after the event?

Yes, this will be sent to you as a PDF document after the event.

How do I evaluate the workshop?

You will be emailed a link to complete an online evaluation form.

What if I need to cancel my place?

Our cancellation terms vary depending on how far in advance you wish to cancel your place. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.

What if I need a doctor?

We shall brief you on arrival about what to do in the event of a fire or emergency in the school. If you feel ill during the workshop, please come to the IBICUS Help Desk and we will endeavour to assist. Obviously you should ask immediately at your hotel for assistance if you fall ill whilst resident there. You should ensure, before you travel to the workshop, that you have appropriate accident, travel and medical insurance.
