We work in close cooperation with the IBO in The Hague (IBAEM) and are licensed by them to run official teacher-training workshops across the region, which ensures that rigorous quality standards are met. All of our face-to-face workshops are certified by the IB and participants receive an official Certificate of Attendance which qualify for authorisation and evaluation purposes.
Furthermore we have the ability and systems to replicate a face-to-face workshop which cannot proceed because of Covid-19 restrictions, with an IBICUS LIVE interactive virtual workshop.
We want you to get exactly what you need in terms of IB training, and the best out of the time that you share with us at our events.
This means that everything we do – from selection of workshop leaders, menus and evening entertainment right through to the freebies that we give you – is done with you in mind.
With anywhere between 180 and 500 people from schools right across the globe at each one of our training events, this provides for lots of scope not only for interaction and networking but also for collaboration. We hope that through this you come away with lots of different ideas, resources, perspectives and new friends.

The IBICUS help desk is open throughout the event, from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave our events, with friendly, can-do staff. This is where you come to if you need help with any IB related queries, issues related to your workshop, extra materials, chargers and adaptors, printing your boarding pass, or chocolate… we almost always have chocolate!
Our venues are varied but provide us and you with exactly what you need.
We provide superb food using the best caterers at each of our events. Menus are carefully selected and we offer regular catered breaks throughout the day, typically including fresh fruit as well as cakes and pastries, tea, coffee, juices and water. Our lunches are normally 3-course buffet style and always include at least one vegetarian main course option. We cater to all diets and will provide gluten-free and other free-from snacks and meals, as long as we know about your needs in advance.
