Rachel recently retired from teaching future English teachers at NHLStenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in History at Yale, Rachel taught in Malawi and then the US, earning her MA in Secondary Education at San Francisco State University. After moving to the Netherlands, she taught in the Dutch school system and at the International School Groningen. In the MYP, she taught English A and Humanities before moving on to English A: Language and Literature and TOK in the DP. She has led IB workshops since 2007, first in the MYP and more recently in the DP. She recently earned her M.Ed from NHL University of Applied Sciences.
