Mona Seervai

Mona began teaching in 1995 at JB Petit School and later became Principal of Bombay International School (2004–2016), where she introduced concept-based learning, inclusion, and international curricula (Cambridge & IB). After leaving BIS, she worked to reform State-run schools by rewriting textbooks and training teachers in concept-based instruction. She served as Director of Education at Sir JJ Schools (2017–2018) and as Head of School at Mount Litera School International (2018–2021). Mona contributes to teacher training and educational leadership through roles at 3.2.1 Foundation, St. Xavier’s Institute, and SEE Learning India. She continues her association with the IB as a consultant and trainer, combining her scientific rigor, social sensitivity, and expertise in international pedagogy.
