How to Book a Place on an Ibicus workshop

– a step-by-step guide

(also see Important Notes below point 12)

Firstly, and especially if you are a new customer, please ensure with your IT department that our emails do not get caught in your spam filters.  Lesley always emails very soon after your booking so if you have not heard from her, the email may be in cyberspace!  If this happens, please try calling on 00 44 (0)7818 252420.

  1. Find the subject (and category) that you need from the drop-down menu on the left of the Home page.
  2. Click on 'Find out more/Book'
  3. Click on 'Add to Cart'
  4. Continue adding (if applicable) until you have all the subjects/venues you require - you can put them on one booking form.
  5. Click on 'Checkout'
  6. Enter your Ibicus User Name and Password or register yourself as a new customer
  7. Complete the details for the invoice
  8. Click on 'Add Participant Details' and complete for each subject
  9. Click on 'Confirmation'
  10. Check the details before clicking 'Proceed to Payment'
  11. Choose your method of payment ('online' using a credit card or 'invoice' to pay by bank transfer/cheque)
  12. Click 'Finish'

You will then receive an automatic acknowledgment of your booking and an invoice or receipt depending on the method of payment.  Lesley Beckingham will then contact you separately with more information.

Important Notes to read BEFORE making a booking

REGISTRATION:

Please ensure that you correctly enter all the details of your participants’ names on our registration section. Name badges and certificates of attendance will be produced on the information given by you on the registration form.
NOT CURRENTLY WORKING IN AN IB SCHOOL?: Not a problem; we welcome individual applications. But please email lesley@ibicus.org.uk in the first instance to make an enquiry and she will direct you to the appropriate workshop.
EMAILS: Please ensure that you provide an accurate and up-to-date email address for all participants, either personal or school, so that their workshop leader can contact them directly in advance. We cannot be held responsible for messages not being received if the information we have obtained from the registration form is incorrect. Please also ensure that your school’s spam filters do not block emails from Ibicus International Ltd ie lesley@ibicus.org.uk
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please refer to our Terms and Conditions regarding our cancellation policy.
TRAVEL: Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the event and for meeting any individual visa requirements. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until participants have received confirmation from us that the workshop is definitely taking place. Confirmation will be sent only when the minimum number of registrations for each workshop has been received.
VISAS: It is important to check visa requirements before registering. Please see our VISA SUPPORT LETTERS for each venue on our website for downloading as required following confirmation of registration. However, we offer no guarantee that production of this document will secure the visa and offer no reimbursement of any monies paid in the event of a visa not being granted.
INSURANCE:

Participants are strongly recommended to secure their own travel and health insurance.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE:

Certificates of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the scheduled sessions. Each certificate will be available as a pdf attachment after the event and will be printed with the name and subject entered on the registration form.
