In subject specific sessions you will consider:

• the DP assessment policy, procedures and criterion-based assessment
• interpreting mark schemes
• converting marks into grades
• appropriate testing to assess progress
• assessing student progress using the IB criterion-based assessment

In these seminars, you will work with examiners and experienced teachers to gain experience in DP assessment.

Fee

This seminar is administered by Ibicus and is run to enhance IB professional development provision, not to replace it. For this, we shall charge a fee of:
£165 per participant, inclusive of seminar materials, lunch, refreshments.

The seminars in November 2009 were heavily over subscribed so please note that early booking is advisable. We shall run a subject if there are a minimum of 5 teachers wishing to attend.
